This policy explains what information Starstruction collects through the Starstruct platform, how it is used, and the choices available to the people who use it. It applies to starstruction.com, to the Starstruct application at starstruct.ai, and to any related services we operate.
Starstruction provides work management software to construction and roofing contractors. Our customers are businesses. The individuals who use the software are those businesses' employees and crew members.
If you connect a third-party account such as Google Workspace, we access only what is needed for the feature you enabled — for example sending email on your behalf, or writing your assigned jobs to your calendar. We do not read, store, or use that data for any other purpose, and you can disconnect at any time from the integrations screen.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business content to advertise to you or to anyone else.
Starstruct sends operational text message notifications to the people who use the Starstruct application and who have enrolled themselves. Starstruct is the registered sender of record for these messages.
Who is enrolled. Only users with a Starstruct account who have individually switched on SMS notifications in their own account settings. There is no public sign-up. We do not purchase, rent, or import mobile numbers from any third party.
How consent is given. SMS notifications are off by default for every user and every notification type. A user enters their own mobile number on their own profile and switches on each notification type they wish to receive. Switching a type on is the act of consent. No number is entered on a user's behalf, and an administrator cannot enable SMS for another user. The full flow, with screenshots, is documented at starstruction.com/sms-notifications.
What we send. Operational alerts about work inside the application: a new job lead entered into your workspace, a new message posted by a colleague on a job, and photos uploaded to a job. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency. Frequency varies with your own activity in the application and with which notification types you have switched on. There is no scheduled or bulk send.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply under your own mobile plan. Starstruct does not charge you for these messages.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to stop all further texts immediately, or switch the SMS toggles off in Settings › Notifications at any time. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help.
Sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with any third party. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are transmitted only to our messaging carrier for the sole purpose of delivering the notifications described above, and are removed when an account is closed.
We share information only in these circumstances:

We keep account and business content for as long as the account is active, and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Mobile numbers are removed when an account is closed. A customer may request deletion of their workspace data at any time.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to the account it belongs to, and administrative access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers of a breach as the law requires.
Starstruct is a workplace tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use personal information will be notified in the application.
